Data Deletion

You can delete your data from Seam at any time. There are three routes depending on how much you want removed.

Delete only your Meta advertising data

Open Seam in your Shopify admin, go to Integrations, and click Disconnect under Meta Ads. This immediately deletes the stored access token and the selected ad account reference. Seam stops reading your ad data from that moment.

You can also revoke access from Meta’s side at Settings → Business Integrations, where you can remove Seam Ads. Doing so triggers a deletion callback that clears the same records on our side automatically.

Delete everything

Uninstall Seam from your Shopify admin under Settings → Apps and sales channels. All shop data — settings, stored summaries, webhook URLs, access tokens, and any connected integration credentials — is deleted within 48 hours, in line with Shopify’s requirements for app uninstallation.

Request deletion by email

If you would rather we handle it, email banana@bananaforscale.biz from the address associated with your store, naming the store you want removed. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.

What we hold in the first place

Seam stores aggregated store metrics, generated summaries, your settings, and access tokens for the services you connect. We do not store individual customer records, and we do not store personal data about the people who see or click your ads. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
